I've been reading a certain serial webcomic lately, and it takes a long time to load each individual strip in its native page, so I've been viewing them directly from the serially-numbered image links. I know that going straight to the image source dinks the author out of some ad revenue (maybe I'll buy a t-shirt to make up for it), but I can't justify increasing my reading time exponentially by loading the page for every strip. The problem is, every time I go to the next strip I have to change the URL manually, which is a big pain in the keister because it takes time and interferes with my ability to enjoy the strips as I read them.
Is there any way - with plugins, download managers, or even a console - to batch download the files, i.e. download .../1.png through .../595.png? I'm using Windows 7 and prefer Chrome, but I'm willing to try other browsers and maybe even LiveDisking a Linux distro to make this happen.

That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot!
Batch downloading consecutive URLs?
