I may be doing some wishful thinking here, but is there a way to set the battery options so that when I'm plugged in, it would be in "high performance" and when I"m not plugged in, it would automatically switch to "power saver"??

Or is that only done manually?

You can either edit the advanced power options of one of your active power plans.

Or just make a new power plan, with your own desired/custom settings for each module, when on battery and plugged in.

Very nice....thank you for that Andy!

I'll have to do that when I get home.

Now if there was some way to be able to automatically switch batteries from my 6-cell when at home to my 12-cell when at school....lol xP....
