    Battery icon wont show up

    Im running vista 64-bit. i just bought this laptop. earlier today i saw the batter icon in the notification area on the bottom right side of the screen, but now its gone. i right clicked the start bar and went into properties-->notification area and saw that the "power" notification icon is not check and its also grayed out. does anyone know how to fix this?
