I've been recently working on converting AVI videos to DVD format and burning them so its possible to watch them via a dvd player. I have been successful but unfortunately the quality and timeing on the voices often gets distorted. Anybody know/use a reliable converter software that outputs somewhat quality dvd's?

I'm using cucusoft software atm and although I haven't been doing it for a long time, the first few were not good.

    Thnxx in advance

I was recommended to www.videohelp.com a little while back. I think you could find some good information on there.

I use WinAVI myself. You can download it from here: http://www.winavi.com/en/video-converter/video-converter.htm

It's easy to use, and you can trial it first before buying it (although the trial puts a lovely big ad to buy the proper version right in the middle of the screen of everything you convert!). And it does batch files with ease too, which is a huge plus for me.

Perfect, thanks alot for the help. But i Found TMPEGenc plus 2.5 version to be exactly what i needed. However, it does bog down the memory entirely when encoding and it takes a while, but in the end the quality of the DVD is outstanding and It does the job with ease. Much appreciated.

PS. videohelp.com helped me out a lot! thnx.
