I need some recomendations as to which software would be the best "all in one" for:

    -Light video editing
    -Music CDs/DVDs
    -Picture CDs
-and anything else I may want to "burn"

I've looked at Nero & Sonic as well as Sony Vegas ($$$$)

    Thanks, Randy

I have nero 7, it is by far the best program for burning CDs/DVDs, plus TONS of other (very useful) programs come with it. I'm not sure about video editing though.

Nero does have a basic video editing app - NeroVison Express. I use the Nero Ultimate 6 package, and it basically does everything I need as far as burning disks goes.

I've got Cyberlink's DVD solution which came with my laptop. I was pleasantly surprised as to the ease of use of the program. It's pretty good at burning whatever you throw at it, and I have also had fun editing with it. Maybe check that out.
