    Ok. Simple question. Whats the best LIVE DJ software out there. Im lookin for stuff I can use to crossfade tracks into one another and such during a LIVE party/club etc. Not stuff like fruity loops, audition etc. Thanks guys

    Virtual DJ is good for beginners but advanced level DJs use Abelon.

    but yes Virtual DJ is the most popular also and easily customizable.

    also Traktor is one. There was a couple others me friend was using at this one party but I dont remember their names.

    Did you mean Ableton Live? =)))

    DSS DJ is a nice piece of software too, it has much less features when compared to VDJ or Traktor, but the quality of mixing is very good.

    If you want to play live, you will need an external 5.1 soundcard, otherwise you'll not be able to listen (preview + pitching) to next track without the audience listening to it with you :D
