I currently have xxx and I like it, but I was wondering if there were any better rippers that I can get for free.

No, not exactly free. xxx is sort of free, in that the xxx section still works after the trial has ended but the updates for the free portion lag the paid part by 6 to 8 weeks. But since we all know that you'll only be backing up DVDs that you own, that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not quite sure about any free ones, but I've been using xxx to backup my collection to my PS3, though it cost, it is really good!

I had been using xxx before that though.
