    What's the best program to help delete unnecessary junk on your computer from your registry and your temp files?

    I've heard Norton System Works is really good but if I can get something that is FREE and does the job well without using a lot of computer resources I'd like to try it out...

    CCleaner is the bomb. I would also say to use Registry Mechanic from PC Tools as your registry tool because it catches the other 75% CC misses. Glary Tools also has a good compilation and its free.

    Ccleaner +1, also i've used a program which is mentioned in the vista tips and tweaks guide topic, Easy Cleaner 2.0 by ToniArts. This gets rid of loads of junk. First time i ran the unnecassary files part i was amazed the amount of junk it got rid of.
