    Hey guy's I'am needing to findout.Which media player system;is best to use?
    See,on my desktop.We've got windows media & quick time
    And when I try to watch a movie.Thats in one of my yahoo groups.It won't read it.As you know,most of the movies are in these forums: wmv / avi / mpeg
    I just want to make sure that my HP-Compaq Business Notebook(NX6110) Celeron M 360J 1.4GHz 256MB 40GB hard drive 15"TFT XGA(1024 x 768)Windows XP Home

    So,can anyone tell me;what's the best media player.To use on my laptop?I need one that'll play the movies.I try to look at.
    1.)Wmv 2.)Avi 3.)Mpeg formatted movies

    I'd look at either the freeware Media Player Classic or Video LAN

    yea VLC media player is very good, it can play anything and doesnt have a bunch of crap skins and trinkets to bog your system down

    I found BSPlayer to be able to handle a lot of formats, use little space and resources and has a 'desktop' mode. http://www.bsplayer.org/

    Okay,my laptop is using the windows media player 10 right now
    I think ;how do I get my laptop to do default to bsplayer instead?

    wmv format sucks and some windows videos are only playable with windows media player, bsplayer o others show it crappy :confused:
    Do not use wmv, use XviD instead, is more powerfull and has better support.
