I need a really good sound editing program for a huge project. It should be easy to use with lots of features like the ability for more than one track.
Thanks,
Leon

Free software? - Audicity is pretty good
-
Nah, doesn't have to be free.
-
Oh, and it should be for Windows, duh. But I really like Garageband!
-
Adobe Audition. I dont think its free though
-
I use Cubase. I have produced music and edited Audio for years.

I use Protools and Audition for music recording and editing. Both are very expensive software and difficult to use if you are new to media recording
For your purposes, Audacity would probably do the job well. I have used it before and it is has many useful features. -
Fruityloops, VirtualDJ, Traktor, Sony ACID.
Sony ACID is best but most expensive.
Fruityloops is totally free and very good.. filmmakers on budget use it. -
+1 for FrutiyLoops
-
Ableton Live
-
If you are experience enough and have some bucks, the Adobe Audition is an stellar product. Otherwise, Fruityloops should get your attention
-
Hm... Will try out Audition.
Any good website with lots of good sound effects? -
I used Fruityloops until I had the $$ to get Audition. They are both great.
-
Anyone knows any websites?
-
Do a search for Freesound Project on Google. Lots of good stuff and its all under Creative Commons license.
-
Alright, thanks, any other good websites.
