Since people here (especially clevo users) have to deal with absolute trash audio drivers, I would at least want to help them trying their own drivers and find something that works for them.

You can basicially choose from a wide variety of audio processing software such as Soundblaster 720, Nahimic 3, Dolby Audio etc.

Personally I think Dolby atmos is the best processing software.

    Enjoy your new sound! :)

What are the requirements to use this method, since you mention Clevo users?
If I have already had Dolby Audio embededd into my laptop to tune the sound to my liking, should I still use it?

Just mentioning clevo users might need this more than normal users, since their sound drivers are exceptionaly bad. it works for all notebooks and PC's.

And what if my laptop doesn't have Realtek audio but Conexant?

Right now I'm using ASUS's Ice Power AudioWizard for music. It works OK.

Ask in the Techpowerup Forums about the APO driver & the audio enhancers

older laptops in late 2000s & early 2010s also had Sigmatel/IDT HD audio chipsets; also there were a few Clevo & Gigabyte laptops that had VIA HD audio chips as well
ASUS ICEPower Audio Wizard only supported certain ASUS laptops (with certain Conexant/Realtek HDA hardware IDs) and never worked on ASUS desktop PCs & motherboards
