I'm looking for a fairly basic video/dvd editing program for Vista Home Premium. I just want to be able to take a video from a camcorder and delete parts of it and recombine other parts of it. Suggestions on a good program for this would be great - I'm willing to pay for the program if necessary.

Windows Movie Maker. (It should be built-in)
With creativity, you can do alot with it -
VirtualDub is free too. Not as user friendly, but its always met my needs...
-
avidemux is also good.
If you are willing to pay, Ulead VideoStudio is an easy program to use. -
I would recommend Windows Movie Maker instead of paying for a lower-end program. -
Looks like I'm gonna go with Movie Maker since I have it already
- thanks everyone! +repped
