The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yeah, I use Skype too... though I must say internetcalls.com too has a voip-in option now.. anyways..

    I used to use Gizmo, but Skype is now running the show. Best of the best IMO.

    I've heard good stuff about Magic Jack - www.magicjack.com

    Personally, I use Vonage because I like the quality and all the extras. I've never had any problems with them.

    Skype is the best for me. Skype has excellent quality calls 95% of the time in my experience. I can't compare the quality of others like Vonage, but IMO Skype has the best pricing and no contract.
