I am thinking of doing a clean install of windows 7 and would like to completely wipe my SSD and HD to their factory "like new" state and was wondering what the best way to do this is? I have a Crucial M4 128GB SSD and the stock HD that comes with the Alienware M14x R1 (I believe it is a SeaGate)

    1. I figured I would first backup my SSD and HD onto my Portable 500GB HD
    2. Format the SSD & HD?
    3. Perform a clean install of Windows 7
    4. I would like to make two partitions on my SSD, one for Gaming (just for WoW) and one for all my other programs, but not sure what the best way to do this is?

Back up your stuff, and reinstall a clean OS? You can partition it, I find there's no real point, as even 64/64 your OS drive will run out of space eventually. You can make another partition when you boot off the Windows 7 disc.
