I was wondering whats the best weather application to use to show the weather in my area on the desktop - i dont want to have to open up other applications or go to websites to view it so are there any recommendations?

Im not sure, but there must be a decent weather gadget out there, no? Look around at their site.

ProWeather Gadget is very nice--average in minimized mode, but click on it and you get a ton of info

Define "good".
I mean, I've tried quite a few and "good" in terms of the actual weather isn't really an issue; it's all dependent on where they get their forecasts.
Do you want long term weather forecast or short term weather forecast?
Where do you live?
Do have any other preferences?
