I just bought a USB drive (2gigs) and I want some software that can do schedule backups of certain folders.

I dont want to make images, or anything like that, just a simple copy and overwrite (that folder ) from HDD to usb drive.

    Any suggestions?

Syncback is not bad., but Cobian Backup is better. You can do incremental and differential backups, which saves a lot of time - and wear and tear on your hard drives.

I like SyncToy from Microsoft's Power Toys. I don't think it does scheduling, but does everything else you asked for.

Why not just use the Backup software included in WindowsXP? It's really not too terrible, all things considered.

SyncToy does scheduling. I use it daily and the winxp backup once a week.

I do not remember what you have to do to enable SyncToy scheduling for xp home. Do a google search.
