I'm looking for a cloud program that has calender and to-do list functionality that I can use across multiple users on a single computer and multiple pc's, and even a smartphone. It should also work offline based on what was last updated online, and update itself when I go back online... etc..

Basically, I want to see the updated tasks wherever I go.

My Microsoft outlook file for example can be accessed by only one user on a single pc...

But with a hotmail/livemail account and Microsoft Office Outlook Connector you can access your calender from multiple pc's in outlook and access it on the web for other devices.
    Maybe that is an option?

How about Google's calendar? You can view it on any computer and also from your phone.

I will give google calendar a try. Is there a way to have the calendar exported automatically to a file on my pc? (offline use).

you could just use windows live mail. integrates with the windows live calendar, too. works on any phone in realtime, too (push support).

or google calendar + google sync to outlook.

does google calendar work in windows live mail? i doubt it..

    windows live mail is free:
