I realize this has been answered in different threads concerning individual components, but I will be replacing the trial version of the Norton Internet Security 2007 which came with my HP notebook and am looking to get the same kind of protection with free components.

My question is this, what free, Vista-supported antivirus, firewall, spyware, etc. programs would be your recommendation to get as complete protection as possible?

If this has been specifically asked in a previous thread, please point me in that direction. Thanks.

when i installed vista and try it on my notebook i have use avast with windows defender and windows firewall
and that also what i'm using now in my XP OS
i think all firewalls sucks so you can just stick with the windows one

    that's my opinion
