    Pretty much the title says, what is the best free video editor. I'd like to convert video resolutions and formats as well as cut videos. That's it. What is the best software for these? My laptop is 4th Gen i5 and NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M. So, I think it should handle such software.

    not used it for years as i use cyberlink but try windows movie maker which should be loaded with most operating systems.
