    Beta 7057 problem.

    Hey guys .. have just installed windows7 beta7057 and every time i restart windows, this comes up.. (pic below) does any one know what it is? and what i can do about it??

    And one more thing...I can not find the menu where I set the visual effects in win7 (help please) :confused: or am i retard?

    Or just find the incorrect desktop.ini file in either the Start Menu, Program files, or Start up directories and delete it. You can check if the dekstop.ini file is incorrect by opening it up and seeing if the lines inside are the same as the notepad window that pops up every time you restart. I deleted the file and it worked like a charm.

    Thanks justinkw1. Method 1 fixed the desktop ini file opening up everytime I boot up Windows 7.7057. Repped.

    Thanks guys, it solved my problem with Desktop.ini file .. But I still can not find the menu where I set all the visual effects in windows .. I found the menu in v7000, but not now? do not understand this ..??
