    Hi...

Just wanted to know - as things currently stand - which is reputed to be the best search engine? Is it Google or is it Bing?

I recently read somewhere that Bing is seemingly better in doing somethings as compared to Google. I'll try and dig up the reference.

    Thanks

both are sometimes good and sometimes fail. both provide additional features beyond just search (stuff like, you can calculate stuff in the google search, or find nearest cinemas where a movie plays tonight, and when exactly.. )

all in all, they're similar. if there's a feature you like in particular (google instant search it is for me), then that's the reason to choose.

on my windows phone 7, i use bing, as it's integrated there.

Makes sense. Thanks. Even the article I was referring to said something similar - for example, the author was saying that he used Bing to research on reviews of products etc. and Google for something else.

Maybe I should use a service like Dogpile!!!!

Bing's good at "decision making" like things. Like travel listings, shopping comparisons, video searches, and such. I still find Google to be better for regular searches
