I'm just guessing, but I think your master boot file may be corrupted. If you're running Vista, it's an easy fix....just put in your Vista disc and select the repair option....it figured out the problem really quick on my pc.

What were you doing on the computer? Did you add any hardware or running any programs?

And geewiz, man. I'm not one to complain much and my typing is horrible too, but put a little effort in it!

Are you trying to discourage people from helping?? Your posts couldn't be harder to read if you were a 6th grader typing in 20°F weather outside without gloves and hopped up on a gallon of Starbucks and a dozen Red Bull's.

I always use to get the unmountable boot volume error, from my experience it happened when i pressed the power button to shut off the pc instead of going through the regular shut down process. I had an HP desktop and pressing F10 or 11 can't remember(clears your whole HD) worked, or a restore CD that was included with my PC also did the job. If you have no important files, start over fresh.
