The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

It is alright. Finds stuff that I want to find. Has some features that every other search engine lacks. Ruffles Fox News' feathers because it can find __rn. Seems like a keeper.

It sounds lame, performance questions aside. I mean, seriously. I "binged" it? :twitchy:

Well, ping and most other decent sounding monosylabic utterances that would work are probably uncopyrightable or alredy copyrighted. They probably got stuck with Bing. Or else the marketing folks got around to the 4th bong at the meeting and by then it started to sound really cool. :)

Opps Sorry. If you want to close this one it's ok. But since it's Microsoft related, I think it would fit here more.

If this is a keeper, could a mod add "Love it, will use it, but not as default" in the poll?

When I first saw it on my search bar in FF, I thought it was a spyware/adware search bar :S

Even though its a Microsoft product, its a search engine so its not a "windows software" and thus does not belong in this section. Continue discussion in the thread linked in crash's post.
