I reinstalled the Bisoncam.exe from the CD on Sager 6630. It puts a "Snapshots" folder on the desktop. If I delete it, it replaces it on reboot. Does anyone have any idea how to prevent this?
    Thanks in advance
    Tom

    A note:
If you want to install any other web cams such as Quick Cam Orbit MT, you have to use the keyboard to turn the cam off before trying to do the install. You have to do this after the reboot and before usb connection.

You may be able to get rid of the folder with the Tweak UI PowerToy from Microsoft. It has a setting that lets you control which desktop icons are shown.

It's probably not fixed by TweakUI (though TweakUI is handy and highly recommended, though). You more than likely have to go into the bisoncam program and disable it somehow, or it's running from one of the startup processes that is started from the folder that bisoncam was installed into. If you run msconfig.exe, you can fiddle with what applications happen on startup, be careful though, as you can also hose your system if you don't pay attention to what you're doing. Good luck!

I had to use regedit, runservices, run and delete bisonhk.exe line out of the registry. It ran each time the notebook booted and placed the "Snapshot" folder on the desktop. Not any more!
