    Hi!

I have two hard-disk drives in my notebook, and I'll be trying go get them working with a software RAID setup, if I can, during my next re-install. However, I'd also like to use this feature of Windows Vista Ultimate, BitLocker Drive Encryption, and I'd have some questions.

    1) Will it work with a setup of two hard-disks working on software RAID?

    2) How much time will it take to decrypt data after a reboot? Or does it only take time the first time ecryption takes place?

    3) How much is the performance hit when it's on, if there is?

    Thank you! :)

All I know about bitlocker is that it uses real-time encryption, so there is no additional time to decrypt. Not sure about the RAID stuff.
