Hi guys...I think i've locked one of my drive with Bitlocker (which I think comes with windows 7) um using win7 64bit. After locking the drive I accidently deleted the bitlocker somehow (I'm not sure if I deleted it but my drive says so)...now when I try to unlock that drive...it says

"The file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, of one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel"

Then I tried to install bitlocker from here: Download BitLocker Drive Preparation Tool from Official Microsoft Download Center

but when I try to install the update it says "The update is not applicable to your computer"

what to do?? please dont say i'm ed...cuz I need this drive :(

Bitlocker is a feature included with Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate. Presuming you have one of those versions of Windows 7, the first thing you are going to want to check is if the Bitlocker service is still enabled. Next, you should have received a bitlocker recovery key.

Information on how the BitLocker feature works can be found on the Springboard Series page for Windows 7 on TechNet here and a step-by-step guide to BitLocker Drive encryption can be found here.

    Hope this helps!
