    Hi all,

I tried installing Windows 10 updates a few days ago and ended up getting my laptop stuck in an infinite boot loop. My laptop is an EVOC P750TM1-G from HIDEvolution. I'm working with tech support right now to try to fix it, but I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issues I've had.

What happened was that I downloaded updates on 6/11 or 6/12 (don't remember exactly) and then clicked "Update and Shut Down". I then tried to boot my computer the next day but encountered a BSOD before the update could complete. The error code was SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and froze. I powered off the computer manually and restarted it and it was able to get in to my desktop fine. I then tried to resume the Windows 10 update and restart. This time however, the laptop got stuck into an infinite boot loop with a black screen. The EVOC logo doesn't show up and the Windows 10 loading icon also doesn't show up. It looks like the screen isn't powered on at all. The RGB lighting on the keyboard and the bar seem to cycle normally and the fans are spinning, but it shuts down and attempts to reboot endlessly without giving my a chance to enter Safe Mode. I've tried to insert my Windows recovery USB, but the screen still doesn't seem to turn on.

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the Redmond Retards are not back to their old tricks of corrupting laptop EDID like the first release of Windoze OS X. I had three Alienware and one Clevo with the EDID screwed up. There were many others in this community that suffered the same trauma. The blame was shifted to EVGA Precision X, but the common denominator in all cases was they had no problems whatsoever prior to Windows 10. If the panel backlight is not coming on even in the BIOS environment, and the only thing that changed is the Windoze Update, that sounds something like what may have happened. @t456 @Prema

I am eager to see what the solution is going to be.

Have you tried resetting the BIOS with FN+D yet?
