I was using my HP 6500t when I hit enter to complete a form. Heard 2 internal beeps, locked up. Closed the current task. Desktop froze. Hard booted, everything fine until right after i log in. Welcome screen appears, then goes to a blank screen. I have a pointer, nothing else. I have control alt delete function, but it just goes back to the blank screen.

Any ideas, and I am not doing a system restore, thats everyones solution, ha.
