I ran across this and found it pretty interesting. Basically, you perform a blind search and then results from Google, Bing, and Yahoo show up. From there, you pick which result you prefer and then you're told where it came from.

I wanted to see if I truly do prefer Google for the lone reason that it has superior searches... or if there something else involved. Well, I performed it 4 times, each time I picked Google. It confirmed my belief that Google is just simply better than Chandler (Chandler Bing) and Yahoo.

    What about you?

Well, Google is my best choice as HOMEPAGE.
I used it for 3 computers of mine and 2 computers for my cousins.
GOOGLE = SAFE(personally opinion) and LIGHT resources and CUSTOMIZABLE(I am not using this function)

I use search engines a lot (both professionally and for fun) and I've found that different search engines are better suited for different things. For example, Google is difinitely the best for searching people, in general, and for computer tech questions. For broader searches, I usually rely on All the Web ( www.alltheweb.com) which is a huge source that has just about everything. But if I'm doing a narrowly focused search, like looking for some specific music, I would use Yahoo Search (audio search) or a more specialized search engine like, for example Songza.

PS Chandler Bing. Hahaha! I know, I always think of him too when I hear the name Bing.

when i took the blind search test, i found that i preferred bing's search results on all samples, which is what i've used ever since it was still called live search.
