Should I get the free 90 trial of Norton Anti Virus and all the other free stuff Dell gives or should I say no and get a new clean computer that has no virus protection? Thanks!

Why get a trial version when free and paid options which are as good or even beter than Norton exist? So, I would suggest getting a clean version without any preloaded crapware.

I've used both Norton and MCafee and they're both resource hogs. Just bite the bullet and get NOD32 on a clean computer, you won't regret it

Try Avast (free) for virus protection, and Comodo (free) firewall.
