When I view webpages in Chrome, the text often looks very pixelated. Diagonal lines are made up of individual blocks, much like a LEGO set. When text is small, oftentimes some strokes in letters are two pixels wide, whereas others are one pixel wide, creating an incredibly ugly look. This doesn't happen in IE9 or IE10, where text appears much smoother. I've noticed this on multiple PCs running both Windows 7 and Windows 8 with different screen sizes and resolutions, so I don't think it's specific to one machine. Any ideas on why this is and if anything can be done to make the text in Chrome appear less pixelated or smoother?

gotta start with the obvious--it's not zoom, correct? and have you tried this? i'm a regular chrome user and i never knew you could adjust appearance/font settings that much.

Yeah, I've tried a couple combinations of zoom, font, and fontsize without resolving the problem.

Though now I'm wondering if I should revert to stock, but unfortunately there's no "revert to default" buttons. In the advanced settings, what fonts are the standard fonts for you?

Using Comodo Dragon, but I think the defaults are the same, and I haven't adjusted anything:
