This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Blu-ray player for windows

    I have a blu-ray drive on my laptop.. any suggestions for the best blu-ray player for me to use?

    VLC doesn't seem to load video from the disc..

    WinDVD as well...

    VLC won't support blueray as there is no open source encryption library to use the encryption...

    The only unofficial BluRay decrypter I know of is SlySoft's AnyDVD HD. Using that you might be able to use VLC (I haven't tested it, but they have a 30 day trial so you can test it).
