Yeah, its sad that Microsoft knows of it so well - so intimately that they have acknowledged an acronym for it, instead of working to prevent its occurrence.

Most of the time BSODs are caused by drivers from other companies, which they have no control over them.

My previous TV Tuner (ATI TV Tuner USB2) BSODed the computer about 25% of the time when the device wasn't connected to the computer...needless to say I stopped using it for a while until a software update fixed it.

I've never had a BSOD on an XP machine that wasn't caused by a program outside of MS's control.

Just copy the file to "C:\Windows" and then set it as the screen saver. Works every time!

BTW, I can't get out of that screen saver my just moving the mouse. I'm guessing the SS will only come out when pressing a key on the keyboard, like I do.

This thing also imitates a reboot process for XP, so it really does fool you!

They have had this screen saver for Linux for a long time. the Linux version has BSOD's for just about every OS ever, so if you like this screen saver switch to linux! :)

They've also had it for Windows for a long time. Microsoft just bought SysInternals. They make some great tools, like Filemon, Regmon, Pagedefrag, junction, etc.

I'm annoyed at how much the Mac lovers insult Microsoft about the Blue Screen of Death. It rarely happens, in fact I've NEVER had it before.

Still, I love the screensaver :D.

I've had more Macs crash on me than PCs, and I've never owned a Mac. This was long before OSX though.
