I am getting the blue screen as soon as I log into my windows, the desktop appears briefly for a minute and some of the software get loaded. After a minute, I am getting the blue screen with some messages saying that some hardware has malfunctioned. But I am able to start the Windows in safe mode and it works fine (except one time when it froze in the safe mode). Can someone please help me how to fix this problem? Thank you.

It is probably a driver issue, did you install any new drivers recently?

use system restore to go back before that happened.
or you can use the safe mode to uninstall any recent software you installed before this happened.

one more thing you can do msconfig in safe mode and disable all the auto load programs, then slowly enable one by one to find the culprit

How old is the system? If you leave it booted into safe mode for some time, do you get a bluescreen eventually?

Thanks guys for your replies. I did only two things in the last 3-4 days:

    1. Installed a new software called ARENA (a simulation software)
    2. Recently changed the system date to a nearly two months back to access an expired software (based on the software provider's recommendation)

I have changed the time back to today's date but still the problem exists.

I am not able to uninstall the installed software since I am not being allowed to access windows installer in the safe mode.

There is a minidump file created. I tried to install Windows Debugger tool to read this file but again was denied installation since I am in the safe mode. Is there any other way to read this file?

    Thanks again.

I didn't take a 'deep' look into this minidump (due to the fact I am stressing my system), but it seems as a 0xD1 DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL caused by hsfhwazl.sys.
So, try disabling/uninstalling/reinstalling that Modem Driver (preferably with a different driver version).

    EDIT:

Thanks, Andy. From the file attached it seems the problem is with the graphics card driver. I disabled the ATI X1400 graphics card and the system seems to work fine intermittently. It still sometimes freezes even before I could login. It mostly works fine in the safe mode.

I am wondering how to check the graphics card to see whether it works fine or not. Is there a way to check the driver as well? Thanks a lot.

I have now uninstalled the ATI 1400X from the device manager and when I tried to install the driver again I getting the attached error. Can someone please tell me how to reinstall the driver again?

After the uninstall I am also having issues with the links from google search. None of the links are working however I am able to directly visit the websites. My gmail is also looking weird with lots of empty spaces. Can someone please help me with this as well? Thanks a lot.
