Hey guys,
Here is my laptops Computer window. You can see the bluetooth devices folder circled. Can somebody tell me how to remove it from there ? This takes away the importance of 'Computer'![]()

Other than removing them:
- Start/Control Panel/BlueTooth Devices
- Perhaps you can right-click on them from the screen you showed us
I do not think you can just "not show" devices that are connected or known to "My Computer" ... perhaps turning off BT would make them unknown until BT is turned back on? -
I tried those stuff's. Is there a setting anywhere to hide this thing or not to show ot?

You might be able to construct an alternate shortcut in C:\Users\ username\Links and use that instead of My Computer
-
Click on the ^ to the far right of the word "Other" above where it shows the bluetooth devices.
EDIT: Oh, you want to keep Personal Safe though, eh? I don't know then. -
You would want to think this would be as easy as right clicking on each and selecting delete..but I guess that's not the case here...so maybe there's some way of getting rid of them via Control Panel, under an option like Bluetooth Devices???? -
You might try navigating to the following keys to check if they are listed there, delete them if you want to remove the folder(remember to backup).
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ MyComputer \ NameSpace (I can delete my Sony Ericsson File Manager folder here)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Desktop \ NameSpace
Good Luck -

You can just turn off share and PIM interface under the Bluetooth Devices
-
Go to Control Panel-->Bluetooth Devices...from the device list remove the device which you wanna remove from the My Computer screen. Its done.
