I have a Rocketfish Mini bluetooth adapter (which is awesomely small) that I am using for my T400. I also have a Moto-Rokr s90-hd headset that I just bought. My goal is to use the headset for listening to music from my T400, BUT its not working. The headset connects to the laptop just fine, but does not create the audio devices in vista.

HOWEVER, when I pair it up with my Asus, it connects just fine and audio starts playing through the headset.

Note: the T400 only has the vista bluetooth stack installed... I cant find any other stacks.

    Any Suggestions?

I don’t think default Vista BT driver supports A2DP. I had to install DELL drivers to get my A2DP headset working. Try the drivers came with the adapter.

Is it this ? that doesn't look very small tho.. But might be using the same chip inside. Most Bluetooth adapters use Widcomm stack (sometimes Toshiba and BlueSoleil), do you know which one is used by yours ? At least the chip or the exact name of the adapter ? "Rocketfish Mini bluetooth adapter" doesn't turn up specific hits...

The adapter is way smaller than that. Vista keeps telling me that its broadcom... although I dont trust vista. or the government.

    This is my adapter.

    LOL :D .

Broadcom acquired Widcomm, so it is Widcomm/Broadcom or whatever they call it now. Earlier there was a direct download available at Broadcom site, but now you have to jump through several hoops to download the driver. Here : Broadcom software update

EDIT : What the ***, I just found out that now you have to pay for the driver ???. I guess you can still find the driver from somewhere else for free.

Try this, its the driver for DELL 370 BT2.1 + EDR internal card using a Broadcom chip. Should work.

BTW according to the user manual of your adapter the driver is provided
Package content : Bluetooth 2.1 EDR USB adapter, Installation CD, User Guide

EDIT : modified my original suggestion

I changed my post and gave another link, this time to a DELL driver that says Bluetooth 2.1, but I guess they are all the same. Glad to hear that Asus one worked.
