I can't get my Logitech iPod bluetooth headphones to work properly on my new Inspiron 1520 (running Vista).

The headphones pair successfully with the machine, and when I test (via the
"test" option in the playback devices menu) them.. I get a sound as expected.

However, when I try to play a song through WMP.. it comes out the laptop speakers instead of the headphones!

What am I missing here? It's probably something stupid..

I think i know what the problem is, have you tried selecting the correct audio device?

If not , in WMP, go to tools , options , then Devices tab, then click speakers, click properties and finally select the audio device you want to use from the pull down menu.

    Hope this helps.

Yep, it is annoying and i have to do that everytime i re-plug my usb headset which is why i just use regular earphones.

Maybe you dont have to if you leave the usb dongle in? I dont know.
