This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Boot loader on usb?

    My bios doesn't have the option to boot from an esata drive but it will from usb. Is there a way to install the boot loader on a usb drive with the OS on the HD?

    Not sure that you can separate the boot loader and the OS components, once you choose where the OS should be installed. Data, sure.
