    Hi

I had Windows 7 RC1 installed on my C:\ drive and I got my copy of Windows 7 Home Premium yesterday, which I proceeded to do a fresh install with.

However, I when I start my computer I now have to select between 2 Windows 7 installations.

Can I get rid of the old one?

Also, even though I did a fresh install, I still have my previous files from my previous Windows installation on my C: drive, I assumed the fresh install would format the C: drive and write Windows fresh?

    Thanks

    Stu

Did you have an upgrade or full W7? If you clean installed, the old W7 shouldn't be there.

    Unable to create c:\7.ios
    Error 5: Access Denied

I uncheck "Read-Only" on the expandedSetup folder, but it does nothing and when I check properties it rechecks it. How do I correct this?

I have the full version and I thought I clean installed, but I have since found out that the installer doesn't automatically format your drive prior to installing Windows 7.

Got the boot issue fixed though! :D
