Ok so here is a problem:
My Uncle got into some trouble recently. He has a computer with XP Original installed on it ( No service pack or patches has been applied on it ) and it has stayed offline through years. Last week, he connected the cable into it and surfed web. Now the computer is packed with lots of spam and viruses. Whenever I tried to install anti-virus software on it; either the program gets shut down or worse, self-terminate ( which means that it suddenly disappear or get deleted). And he doesn't want to do a wipe out and reinstall XP b/c it takes time to do it. So I just want to ask that is there any way for me to sync an Operating System with anti-virus software installed into a CD/DVD ? So I can run it on my uncle's PC. Thanks for any advice or suggestion

That's I have no idea. They just popped up when I used that computer. So I ask him what he did. He said "I just want to check my mails so I plugged the cable in". Thanks for the advice though.

Even after running all the anti virus scans on it, there is still a good chance that his original data is left fragmented and he will never have the same enjoyment of his computer again. I would opt for a complete format and reinstall, then be sure to d/l the service packs and bring it totally up to date. Then make an image file of the install to back it up. This way next time it will only take 15-20 minutes. GL
