I'm downloading the Knoppix LiveCD right now but only have some DVD-RAM media lying about. So, if I burned the image onto my DVD-RAM and booted from the optical drive, would it work or would I have to burn it only on a cd-r/rw??

I've used Knoppix before but only on cd-rs and am curious to see if it would work on recordable dvd media, specifically dvd-ram.

I could download the dvd version of Knoppix but it would take too much time right now.
