I just bought a Samsung Series 9 NP900X3C. I reinstalled Windows7 Home Premium with a C: partition for programs, and a D: partition for data.
I would like now to make a bootable SD-card with windows recovery or installation software. How do I do that and how do I check that the Samsung supports booting from SD-card?
If that is not possible, how do I make a bootable USB stick?

Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool
never thought about using an SD card but i'd imagine it's only possible if you also have/use a USB card reader. unless your BIOS supports booting from an integrated card reader...? -
So how do I check that my notebook supports booting from integrated SD-card reader?
I checked the Win 7 USB/DVD download tool. According to Microsoft website, it seems to work only with iso's purchased from their store. It did not work with an iso I made from my own installation disk.
How do I solve that problem? Can I download an iso somewhere that works with the USB/DVD download tool? Or if not, what other way do I make a bootable USB stick with an installation or recovery iso? -

I tried to make a bootable USB but ran in same kind of problems with Win 7 USB/DVD download tool as described in following website:

So now I give up on this tool and next I will try following approach:

The errors were as described on the website quoted.
I now proceeded with making a bootable USB drive and posted my experiences in another thread:
