    Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've been here;

    I'm trying to create a Vista disc from which I can boot; however, I have burned the iso file (which I obtained legally, and YES I have a legal product key) and when I put it into my HP Pavilion DV2500, and press BOOT FROM DISC, nothing happens. I get a blank screen.

    What have I done wrong? I've used 10 or 20 burning programs, and I KNOW I'm using the PROPER ISO file, that's not in question. Should the LABEL be different? I'm literally ripping my hair out of my head; I've been at this for hours and I've gotten no where, and I need to use my computer which has no OS on it!!!!!!

    . try using this created Vista Disk on another comp and see if it boots up from it.
    . try another source for ISO in question

    cheers ...
