    Bootvis optimize?

    How long should it take to have bootvis optimize my drivers? I let it run for over 2 hours and nothing happend,Does it take along time or what?

    That sounds strange.

    Let me offer some advice. Forget about bootvis and use TuneXP.

    bootvis shouldn't take that long. the procedure is:
    first you tell it to trace one reset process then actually reset
    afterwards, after everything has loaded bootvis will open back up itself and show you the results.
    from there you click trace->optimize boot and then it'll reset your computer again for you. after the reset process is done and all ur programs are loaded, bootvis will come back up itself again and do the optimization process.

    All of this takes about 20 minutes max.

    It took like 5min on my dv6000t. But then again I removed all the bloat ware so I have very few things running at the start-up.

    Thats exactly what i did. Turns out my new E1505 is a lemmon they are replacing it.Had to restore from hard drive like 4-5 times to get anything to work.
