I have a DVD that I want to play. It's in a widescreen format, and when I play it in Windows Media Player and right-click and hit fullscreen, the borders seem to be grey. How can I fix this so that they are black? When the player is just in normal mode, the borders look much blacker than they do in fullscreen.

IDK..they both look black to me..maybe it's extra light coming from the bottom of the monitor itself. I don't know if dimming the brightness of the monitor might make it look any better. Or u can click on the down arrow on the "Now Playing" tab in Windows Media Player and scroll over "Enhancements" and choose "Video Settings" and mess with the brightness...Anyone else with opinions or a solution?
Nice screen shot BTW. -
Problem solved. I did what I should have done in the first place-- update the drivers for my graphics card. I just figured since this laptop was brand new they'd be relatively new too.. but I found an update and the grey border problem went away.
