I woud like to install a program that provides break reminders (to stop using computer for some time). Is anybody using such software or can someone give an advice about a good program?

    Thanx!!

if you have a cellphone, most allow you to program reminders that run daily at the same time, and you can have multiples per day. since i always have my cell on me (or on my desk), that's what i use for reminders.

Yeah, I guess clock and cell phone are ok.But at my last workplace I had a special software which made you stop working every one or 1/2 hour. Very useful for eyes and stretching, especially when you have to work long hours in front of your computer. I guess an alarm clock would just annoy you and you need to program it every time.

No, not an alarm clock. I use the calendar on my cell, which allows you to schedule many events per day and you can have them recurr as often as you like. So, if you want it to go off every hour from, say, 10am - 4pm, you'd have to set them all up once, and set the repeat for Mon-Fri. That's how I'd do it -shrug- Seems like a waste of a process on my computer.

Well, that's what I meant by "alarm clock" - if you go out of the office, your mobile will keep ringing. If you don't use the computer it will keep ringing, unless you turn off the option. Break reminder program checks only the time when you are actually using the computer.

Anyway, I found this site from google ( http://www.tifaq.com/software/shareware.html), seems a bit old but may try it later. Thanks in any case for your help!!
