This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I don't know what the program would be called, but I deleted a file about a month ago which had a very important paper in it that I now need. Is there anyway I can go back and get that file with a program :confused:

    I am using Vista by the way.

    a month ago might not be recoverable. Try recuva.com anyway

    other is "Undo Delete"

    and Recuva also good.

    Try both..each has different results.

    No use, however I found it printed in a huge stack of school papers, thanks for the help though everyone!

    You won`t recover it, way too long. Files have probably been written on that hdd section by then.
    TuneUp Utilities has an Undelete section also, and Norton ...
