Vista 32bit. Utorrent as a torrent client.
Suddenly( after windows update and restart) web pages stoped to open. could not open any web page, but! i can play online games, internet connection is on, also the downloads in Utorrent are working and the speed is a good one. but web pages dont work.
I close Utorrent, and after 5min. web pages start to open..
All that happened after i made a Windows Update, through Windows Update Center in Vista..
Maybe there is one of the installed updates bugging? because previously all was ok.
Help pls.

. Error messages when trying to open web pages?
. What browser were you using?
. Did it happen with some other browsers?

whoa we're being "allowed" to discuss utorrent! What a breakthrough, I feel like I'm in east germany circa 1989 and the wall is coming down, let's celebrate! Oh.. back to topic .. carry on

Do you have the latest version of uTorrent, 1.8.1?

Do you have NOD32 installed?

qhn,
firefox, the latest version, yep it happens with all browsers.
Hiker,
yeah, 1.8.1 Utorrent.
Silas Awaketh,
right, NOD32 AV only.
Hm.. seems the solution was found, some guy told that it is Windows Half-open limit http://half-open.com/home_en.htm
i patched and now all is working again.
I think we should attach this to FAQ.
And thanks for support dudes, very appreciated. The first clue where to go, get a help and solution with bugging Vista ) is this forum, great one.

Sorry but after installing Vista SP1 blue screen of death appears when you use the program and reboot the computer. Then you have to put your Vista DVD in repair mode in order to boot properly.
Hope release a fix soon.
