Any suggestions on a comprehensive burning rom, preferably without an overload of extra options. Just something pretty basic to burn CD's and DVD's. Thanks in advance.

I used a few in my time but I have always ended up going back to nero. I find it the best burning program out their. If you want to keep it basic try 5.5, as 6 is a little more bloated, although I like it myself.

One of the more basic packages out there is Roxio's Creator Suite. This is all graphically done, so all you really have to do is click then drag and drop.

Nero is an excellent package, but it's really designed for more intermediate to advanced users as there are a lot of settings/options.

Thanks. I'll check out both of them to see which one I like.

I 2nd Nero as the best burning ROM.. it has a wizard option which is for novice users, if you feel the need or urge to get geeky, there are power user options for them too... It's the program that i've found to be less cluttered with garbage...and more stable?
