Both very popular, GU leads in downloads on CNet, both seem very similar. GU takes up more resources. Are there differences and which do you prefer? I have been using both with no problems but would like to cut down after latest recovery.

GU has more features than Ccleaner, but Ccleaner's cleaning features are much better. They aren't the same product. So you really can't compare the two.

I prefer the free "advanced system care", I have been using it for years without any problems, it`s similar to glay utils but better.
I like ccleaner when i install a new system , I can install all the passwords and settings for my website and then get ccleaner to remember only theses cookies, and then it will only wipe the ones i dont want.
glary utils has a process manager that ranks the processes as useful or not and it give a description of them and you can block the ones that are dangerous or slowing your system down. -
I use CC and it works for me, but I've heard Glary is good also.

I'm a Ccleaner user as well.. easy to use..nice interface doesn't take up much resources and does a good job imo
-
CCleaner for me as well....simple....free...does teh job

CCleaner is easier to use and works just about as well as Glary Utilities. CCleaner also warns you if you select an option that may do harm to your computer, so you can still use it even if you are not an advanced computer user.

I use ccleaner, it works that is all I need. I can't complain because its free.

CCleaner is probably one of the lightest, fastest and most user-friendly programs I have ever used. Besides that, it does it's job perfectly.
+1 for CC. -
Just as a follow up, I got a free offer on win utilities professional. I am using that and Glary. Thanx for your help. Glary does not require a reset for FF. I use three browsers regularly. Win pro does a lot of amazing things I am still playing with.
